Bitti Sea Tours review: RIB trips from Santa Teresa Gallura to La Maddalena and Corsica

Bitti Sea Tours is a boat-trip brand on the Santa Teresa Gallura waterfront, the town on the Strait of Bonifacio about 25 km west of Palau. Where most Bitti Sea Tours La Maddalena days differ from the Palau operators is the boat and the geography: fast RIBs rather than motor ships, and an open-water crossing of the Bocche di Bonifacio before the first island.

This Bitti Sea Tours review is unusual in one respect. In September 2026 we found no official website, no Tripadvisor page and no Facebook page under this name; what is published lives on booking platforms and in the listings that use the Bitti kiosk as check-in. So we describe what those listings say, and we flag every gap.

What Bitti Sea Tours offers

On CheckYeti, the provider “Bitti Sea Tours Santa Teresa di Gallura” showed four offers and nine reviews at the time of writing:

• Boat trip to the La Maddalena Archipelago with lunch, 8 hours, from €75 per person, free cancellation.
• Private boat trip to the archipelago, 8 hours, from €1,150 per boat, food and drinks available, rated 4.5 from 2 reviews on the listing.
• Private boat trip to the Lavezzi Archipelago (Corsica), 8 hours, from €1,150 per boat.
• A private RIB day to La Maddalena from €780 per boat also appears on CheckYeti under the Bitti name.

A further RIB day to Budelli, La Maddalena and Santa Maria (from €70) is listed by another provider, Estasi Escursioni, with check-in at the white “Bitti Sea Tours” kiosk on the port. That tells you how the Santa Teresa waterfront works: kiosks and boats are shared or sub-chartered between a handful of families, and the name on the ticket is not always the name on the hull.

The typical archipelago itinerary on that RIB listing: about 1 h 15 of free time in La Maddalena town, two hours of swimming at Cala Santa Maria, two hours on a Spargi beach, and a pass in front of Spiaggia Rosa on Budelli, which can only be seen from the water. The Corsica route heads the other way across the strait to Bonifacio’s white cliffs and the Lavezzi islands.

Boats and comfort

The only boat described in detail on the listings we could read is a 10 m motorised RIB for up to 11 passengers with a sun-protected area, a shower and a stereo, no toilet and no wheelchair access. Bitti does not publish fleet details of its own, so we cannot say how many RIBs run or which one serves the €75 boat trip with lunch. Ask at the kiosk or through the platform chat before paying.

Eight hours on a RIB without a toilet is the practical issue. Stops in La Maddalena town and on the beaches give you options, but plan for it, especially with children.

Bitti Sea Tours prices and what is included

Bitti Sea Tours prices are not published on any site of the company’s own. The figures above are as shown on CheckYeti in September 2026 and change with the season. Two inclusion patterns appear:

Landing contributions are collected by several Santa Teresa operators in cash at check-in; one GetYourGuide listing from this port quotes €5 per person for the municipality of La Maddalena. Bitti’s listings did not state one, which means you should carry a little cash anyway.

Insider tip: Read the “included” line before the price. The two shared products from this kiosk differ by only five euros, but one feeds you and the other hands you a bottle of water. Pack a picnic and a mask if you take the RIB day.

What customers say

The provider profile on CheckYeti showed nine reviews; the RIB day listing that checks in at the Bitti kiosk showed 4.8 from nine reviews. Reviewers praise the locations, the well-organised and comfortable boat and the skipper, and describe a “fantastic day”. The recurring complaints are that stops ran shorter than advertised and that the skipper’s English was limited. We found no Tripadvisor or Google Maps listing under the Bitti name to cross-check, so treat this as a small sample.

Departure logistics

Check-in is at the white kiosk on the Santa Teresa Gallura port at 08:15 for a 09:00 departure, according to the listings. The port is at the bottom of the town; parking near the marina is paid in summer, and in August you should be there well before check-in. Boats from here cross the Bocche di Bonifacio first, and when the wind blows the strait is rougher than the sheltered water between Palau and La Maddalena. Take motion-sickness tablets before boarding if you are at all sensitive. Corsica is 50 minutes away by ferry from the same port, which is why French day-trippers are common on these boats.

Who should book it, and who should not

Book Bitti Sea Tours if you are staying in Santa Teresa, want a fast RIB rather than a slow motor ship, and like the idea of choosing between the archipelago and Lavezzi from one kiosk. The private boat is a reasonable option for a group of eight to eleven splitting the cost.

Do not book it if you want a shaded ship with a toilet and a pasta lunch, if English-language commentary matters, or if you would rather deal with a company that publishes its terms. In that case the Palau operators, or the Santa Teresa motor ship and catamaran listings below, are easier to judge.

In person at the kiosk on the port, or online through CheckYeti, where the provider profile carries free cancellation up to 24 hours. Phone, WhatsApp and e-mail contacts are not published anywhere we could verify. A separate site under the Bitti family name (Bitti Escursioni alle Isole) surfaced in search, but it would not load in September 2026, so we do not treat it as confirmed.
